A lot of two old bowl shaped baskets, both finely crafted. One woven with deeper colored concentric circular bands. Both in good condition, one with modest chipping at one edge. D: 10.5 & 11.25". $150/2

A "warriors Hangar". One side with wire wrapped blade, flat ornamental wooden pommel. Carved wooden sheath with up turned end and inlaid hard stone "flowers" on both sides. Very decorative. $300

Shinto/Shinshinto "yari" point (spear) point, three sided. L: 7". Mumei (unsigned) ubu (uncut tang). Would polish well. Overall L: 14". These were usually mounted on mother- of-pearl decorated poles. $250

Shinto/Shinshinto "hachiwara" (helmet breaker) point. L: 14". Reportedly invented by famed swordsman Mushashi Miyamoto. Used as a parrying weapon as well. Overall length, 18 1/2". Unsigned, original tang. $225

A later model of the above, actually WW2. This is the Model 99(1940), likely the Paratroop Model Type I(whereby the barrel unscrews for carrying). The bore is 7.7mm, larger than the previous models so as to meet the demands of armored warfare. The stock is painted ŒKU HEI 17"(Sky Soldier 17). The re is also a plate on the stock with the number 17 and "HOKYO KANEYAMA TO", or Kaneyama Supply. There is also a bayonet to fit this model, in excellent condition with Tokyo arsenal marks. Ramrod lacking, otherwise mechanically sound and also makes attractive display. $300
