This cataloguer collects miniature bronze knives found in Iran from the Luristan Civilization. They were probably toys as insufficient numbers of them have been found to suggest a coinage use as the above pieces were in China.

785. Hsin Dynasty, Wang Mang Interregnum, c. 10-22 AD, a smaller knife coin with top in form of round "cash" coin with square center which is inscribed "knife" and Wu pai = 500 on the short blade. A plastic sheet holding twenty Chinese coins including State of Ch’u "ant nose and ghost face" money, c. 612-255 BC; the rest ancient Chinese round coins all with either square or circular cut-out centers. These are high-lighted by a round Ming-tao and a Yi Tao which were equivalent to a Ming knife. Other examples are the tiny "Elm Leaf’ coin, and a "Thread-Ring" coin.
